In my preparation for this Sunday's message on the 8th commandment, "You shall not steal", I came across this quote: "It is well known that Christ was crucified between two thieves. But as far as God's justice was concerned, there were really three thieves on the cross that day: two who died for their own crimes and one who took our sins upon himself." (Philip Graham Ryken)
This thought is worth meditating on the rest of the week.
